Riqueza Cultural Rubi Corazon Plata Tequila is the unaged blanco of the Rubí Corazón line — 40% ABV (80 proof), 750mL, 100% agave, bottled clear and crystalline in the line's signature ruby-red presentation: a bottle shaped around a heart-shaped opening, honouring the ruby and the sacred heart of the Aztec tradition. It is available to order online at Del Mesa Liquor.

A Ruby With a Heart Cut Through It

Rubí Corazón is Riqueza Cultural's love letter in glass and colour: "rubí" from the Latin for red, the colour of passion, love and romanticism — rubies were regarded in antiquity as drops of blood from the heart of mother earth — and "corazón" for the heart, which the Aztecs held sacred, the link between the gods and the inner self, balancing body, mind and spirit. The bottle is built around that story, with a heart-shaped opening at its centre, and the line's decorated presentation is credited by the brand to artisans from Tonalá, Jalisco. Inside is the line at its youngest: an unaged plata, clear with silver glints, all agave and freshness. Find it on our blanco tequila shelf, browse the range in tequila, or see the family's figures and hearts on the Riqueza Cultural vendor page.

Tasting Notes

Colour: Clear and crystalline, with silver glints (retailer-carried notes for this bottling). Nose: Defined and crisp — herbal and fruity notes from the agave. Palate: Soft, keeping the fruity, herbal character, with enough body to drink neat or mixed.

How to Enjoy

Neat for the agave character, or as the blanco under a Margarita or Paloma where the bottle earns its place on the table afterwards — this is a presentation made to be kept and shown.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does "Plata" mean? Silver — the unaged blanco class. On Riqueza Cultural's own listing the Plata is the "White" sorting of the Rubí Corazón line, alongside Rested (reposado), Aged (añejo) and Extra Aged expressions.

Why is the bottle shaped like a heart? By the brand's own telling: the ruby stands for passion and love, and the heart — sacred in the Aztec tradition — links the drinker to that symbolism. The bottle is moulded around a heart-shaped opening at its centre.

Where is it made? In Jalisco, Mexico, by Riqueza Cultural. The producer does not publish a NOM or production method for this specific bottling — the wider range is listed at NOM 1459 in Amatitan, but that figure is not printed for the Plata and is not claimed here.
