Rabbit Hole Cavehill Bourbon Whiskey is a 750mL Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at 95 proof (47.5% ABV), built on an unusual four-grain, triple-malt mash bill: 70% corn, 10% malted wheat, 10% honey malted barley and 10% malted barley. Blended in small batches of no more than 15 barrels, it is aged in Kelvin Cooperage American white oak toasted over wood fire, then charred. It is available to order online at Del Mesa Liquor.

Four Grains, Three Malts, One Louisville Landmark

Cavehill is named for Louisville's Cave Hill Cemetery, which Rabbit Hole presents as the resting place of more master distillers than any other cemetery — a tribute to generations of Louisville whiskey makers. The whiskey itself is the distillery's four-grain calling card: every secondary grain is malted, which the brand credits for its layered, rounded character. It earned Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2024 and Gold at the New York World Spirits Competition 2024, per the brand. Explore the range on the Rabbit Hole vendor page, or browse our bourbon collection.

Tasting Notes

Per the brand: spice, honey and fresh apple on the aroma; orange, honey, mint and toasted grain on the palate; a finish of vanilla and custard.

How to Enjoy

Neat or with a splash of water to open the malted grains, and a natural fit for a honey-kissed Old Fashioned. More Kentucky bourbons are in our whisky collection.
