40% ABV (80 proof) | 750mL | Añejo: 18 months in American white oak | NOM 1103, Los Altos, Jalisco — Pueblo Viejo Añejo is an 18-month oak-aged tequila — six months past the añejo legal minimum — from Casa San Matías, the Los Altos distillery founded in 1886 that also makes the premium Orgullo line.

Made from estate-grown 100% Blue Weber agave with piñas slow-roasted in traditional stone ovens, this is Pueblo Viejo's traditional highland tier: soft amber with vanilla, toasted almonds, chamomile, ripe orange, and peach on the nose, and a palate of sweet oak, vanilla, dark chocolate, and roasted almonds leading into a long dried-fruit finish. A genuine old-house añejo at a workingman's price — available to order online at Del Mesa Liquor in San Diego, CA.

Why buy it from Del Mesa Liquor

  • 18 months in oak — half a year beyond the añejo minimum for extra depth
  • NOM 1103 — Casa San Matías, Los Altos, Jalisco; estate agave, stone-oven roasted
  • From the same historic house (est. 1886) behind the premium Orgullo tier

How to serve it

Neat in a snifter or rocks glass at room temperature. If you're feeling a cocktail, it holds its own in an añejo Old Fashioned with agave syrup.

What is NOM 1103?
The official distillery registration for Casa San Matías in Los Altos, Jalisco, certifying this as authentic 100% blue agave tequila made at that distillery.

Is Pueblo Viejo related to Orgullo?
Yes — both are made at Casa San Matías; Pueblo Viejo is the traditional value tier, while Orgullo is the premium anniversary line from the same house.
