Patron Reposado
Patron Reposado is a 750mL reposado tequila bottled at 40% ABV, handcrafted from 100% Blue Weber Agave at Hacienda Patrón in Jalisco, Mexico (NOM 1492) and aged for at least four months in used American, French and Hungarian oak barrels. Light amber gold in the glass, it sits exactly where a reposado should: the Silver's cooked-agave brightness, framed by a measured rest in oak. It is available to order online at Del Mesa Liquor.

Rested Four Months, Between Silver and Anejo
"Reposado" means rested, and Patrón's current product page states the rest plainly: at least four months in oak — American, French and Hungarian — which is double the two-month legal floor for the class. The agave going in is 100% Blue Weber, cooked in stone ovens and crushed by both the volcanic tahona stone and the roller mill, the dual extraction Patrón names on this expression's own page. The oak's job here is framing, not flavouring: the cooked agave stays the subject. The full range is on the Patrón vendor page and in our tequila collection.
Tasting Notes
Patrón's current official notes: light amber gold colour; fresh and cooked agave on the aroma; and a palate centred on cooked agave with honey, vanilla and tropical fruit, over light oak.
How to Enjoy
The Margarita reposado — more structure than a blanco, nothing lost to oak — and equally at home neat or on a rock as an aperitif pour. Build the rest of the serve from our spirits collection.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long is Patron Reposado aged?
At least four months in oak barrels, per Patrón's current official product page — longer than the two-month minimum the reposado class requires. Older copy quoting other durations is superseded.
What barrels does Patron Reposado rest in?
Used American, French and Hungarian oak barrels, per the current official page headline — the same three-oak programme as the Añejo, applied for a shorter rest.
What is the difference between Patron Silver and Reposado?
Silver is bottled unaged; Reposado rests at least four months in oak, gaining its light amber gold colour and its honey, vanilla and tropical fruit notes over the cooked-agave base.
