Moet & Chandon Ice Impérial is a 750mL non-vintage demi-sec Champagne — positioned by the house as the first and only Champagne created specifically to be enjoyed over ice. Per Moet's official pages it blends 40–50% Pinot Noir, 30–40% Meunier and 10–20% Chardonnay with 20–30% reserve wines, at a 45 g/L dosage, cellared 18 months. The house publishes no ABV for this bottling, so none is stated here. It is available to order online at Del Mesa Liquor.

Champagne, Reimagined for Ice

Ice Imperial broke Champagne's rules on purpose: a demi-sec dosage and a fleshy, fruit-forward blend designed to taste complete — not diluted — as the ice melts in a wide glass. It is the summer counterpart to the house's classic Brut. Browse the house on the Moet & Chandon vendor page or explore more Champagne and sparkling wine.

Tasting Notes

From the producer: deep gold with amber highlights; intense tropical fruit — mango and guava — with nectarine and raspberry; a broad, fleshy palate of fresh fruit salad, caramel and quince jelly, finishing with grapefruit and ginger freshness.

How to Enjoy

The official serve: over ice — three cubes in a large Cabernet-style glass, per the house's foodpairing page — with warm-weather food, fruit desserts and rooftop afternoons.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does this Champagne go over ice? It was blended for it: at 45 g/L dosage with a tropical, fleshy profile, the cuvee is calibrated so the chill and dilution land it exactly where the house intends.

How sweet is Ice Imperial? Demi-sec at 45 g/L — rounder and richer than a Brut, deliberately so for the over-ice serve.

How does it differ from Moet Imperial Brut? Dosage and design: Ice Imperial is a 45 g/L demi-sec built for ice; Imperial Brut is the dry house classic for a straight chilled pour.
