Maxime Trijol VSOP

Fruit, Flowers and the First Touch of Oak
The Trijol family has grown, distilled, aged and bottled its own cognac at Saint-Martial-sur-Né since 1859 — full grape-to-bottle control that few houses of its size still keep, with 22 Charentais pot stills on site. The Grand Classic VSOP is the range's golden middle: fruity and floral like a young cognac, but with the oak tannins that mark the beginning of real maturity, all in lasting harmony. For the single-cru take, see the separate Grande Champagne VSOP listing. Explore the grades in our cognac collection, or on the Maxime Trijol vendor page.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Golden yellow in the glass; fruity and floral with spiced wood and a hint of over-ripe fruit. Palate: Sandalwood and oak with marmalade and mixed peel, spices developing through the middle. Finish: Honeyed and peppery with sweet spice — lively to the end.
How to Enjoy
Neat or with a single cube after dinner; VSOP is also the classic cocktail grade — build a Sidecar or a Vieux Carré on it and the oak shows through.
