La Petite Perriere Sauvignon Blanc is a 750mL French white wine at 12.5% ABV from Saget La Perrière — 100% Sauvignon Blanc bottled as Vin de France, its grapes drawn from the family's Loire vineyards and partner growers in the South of France. Fresh, floral and fruit-forward, it is the Saget family's everyday Sauvignon, finished with a screw cap for easy pouring. Order it online at Del Mesa Liquor.

Nine Generations of Saget

The Saget family has been in wine at Pouilly-sur-Loire since 1790 — nine generations, from the first vines planted at Le Bouchot to one of the first local families to bottle their own wine in the 1920s, and from the 1980s an expansion across the whole Loire, making them the only family with a winemaking presence in all four Loire subregions. La Petite Perrière is the range's open, approachable white: Sauvignon Blanc given a short cold maceration to hold its aromatics, then three to four months on its fine lees for a little texture before bottling in early spring — the "little quarry" label carrying the house's gold La Perrière seal. Browse the house on the Guy Saget vendor page.

Tasting Notes

Per the importer's tech sheet: a pale, clear yellow wine; a floral, boxwood nose with peach and mango (grapefruit in some vintages); a lively, crisp, fruit-forward palate; and a lingering lime-citrus finish.

How to Enjoy

Serve it cold — 8–10°C — as an aperitif or with the Loire's classic partners: goat cheese, shellfish, grilled fish, salads and asparagus. More French whites are in our white wine collection.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is La Petite Perriere a Loire wine?
The producer is a Loire house (Saget La Perrière of Pouilly-sur-Loire), but this bottling is legally Vin de France: its grapes combine Loire estate fruit with partner-grown fruit from the South of France, so it carries the national appellation rather than a Loire AOC.

What grape is La Petite Perriere Sauvignon Blanc?
100% Sauvignon Blanc, per the US importer's tech sheet — no blending varieties.

Who is Guy Saget?
The signature brand name of Saget La Perrière, the family house founded at Pouilly-sur-Loire in 1790 and now run by the ninth generation of the Saget family.
