A Century-Dormant Name, Distilling in Louisville Again
Henry Kraver built the Kentucky Peerless name in Henderson, Kentucky from 1889, but production stopped in 1917 and the distillery was dismantled after Prohibition. Kraver's great-grandson Corky Taylor and his son Carson revived it in downtown Louisville — distilling again from 2015, in a roughly 115-year-old industrial building, under Kraver's recovered original plant number, DSP-KY-50.
