Kendall-Jackson Vintner's Reserve Sauvignon Blanc is a 13.5% ABV, 750mL white wine from California — Sauvignon Blanc-led, with a small Semillon addition (1–9% depending on the vintage) that the winery credits with rounding the mouthfeel and adding fig and perfume notes; recent winery facts also include a little Pinot Blanc. Unusually for the Vintner's Reserve range, the sourcing is led not by the coast but by Lake County — 69–94% of documented blends — with Mendocino, Sonoma and coastal fruit in support; the winery attributes floral, citrus, melon and grapefruit character to Lake County. The ABV is 13.5% in every documented vintage, 2018 through 2024. Most of the wine is made in stainless steel in character, with a small barrel-fermented portion documented on earlier tech sheets. Wine Enthusiast rated the 2023 vintage 93 points and a Best Buy. It is available to order online at Del Mesa Liquor.

Lake County Fruit, a Semillon Polish

Lake County's volcanic soils and high-elevation vineyards give Sauvignon Blanc a floral, citrus-driven intensity, and Kendall-Jackson leans on the county vintage after vintage, blending in coastal fruit for minerality and a small Semillon share for texture — a Bordeaux touch in a California glass. The newer winery notes turn tropical (tangerine, guava, white peach) while older sheets emphasise honeysuckle, pear and lemongrass; both describe the same house style at different ripeness points. Browse the range on the Kendall-Jackson Wine Estates vendor page or the white wine shelf.

Tasting Notes

Nose: White flowers, Bartlett pear, honeysuckle and apricot (winery notes, recent vintages). Palate: Tangerine, guava and white peach with bright acidity and minerality. Finish: Quince and honeycomb.

How to Enjoy
