Glenfiddich Grand Cru 23 Year Old Scotch Whisky
Glenfiddich Grand Cru 23 Year Old Scotch Whisky is a 750mL Speyside single malt bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof), matured for 23 years in American and European oak casks and finished for up to six months in rare French cuvée casks — French oak that previously held the first fermentation of wine destined to become Champagne. Released in September 2019 as the first expression of Glenfiddich's Grand Series, it was built by Malt Master Brian Kinsman to fuse the finest flavours of Scotland and France into a whisky for celebration. It is available to order online at Del Mesa Liquor.

Scotland Meets France: The First of the Grand Series
Glenfiddich has distilled in Dufftown since William Grant's first spirit ran on Christmas Day 1887, and the Grand Series is its celebration range — long-aged malts finished in casks from great wine traditions. Grand Cru, the first of them, takes 23-year-old whisky from American and European oak and gives it a final rest in French cuvée casks, layering a sparkling-wine elegance over the malt's deep oak richness, presented in a black bottle with gold detailing. Tasting Notes
Per Glenfiddich: deep gold in the glass; apple blossom, freshly baked bread and candied lemon on the nose; rich vanilla oak, sweet brioche, sandalwood, pear sorbet and white grape on the palate; a long, opulent, sweet finish.
How to Enjoy
Neat in a tulip glass for a celebration pour — the cuvée-cask fruit rewards a slow, undiluted serve. More long-aged Speyside malts are in our whisky collection.
