Born in France, Raised in the Hamptons
Hampton Water began with Jesse Bongiovi and his father Jon, who built the concept with Ali Thomas and then brought in Gerard Bertrand — the Languedoc's best-known winemaker — as winemaking partner; the wine launched in 2018. The varieties are harvested separately at optimum ripeness, and only free-run and first-press juice is kept, with a portion of the wine aged in French oak barrels. Explore the producer on the Hampton Water Wine vendor page, or browse our wine collection.
Tasting Notes
Per the makers: pale pink, fresh and lively, with soft strawberry and red fruits, citrus, and a touch of spice, a fresh mineral palate, and a long finish.
How to Enjoy
Chill it well and pour it as an aperitif, or alongside salads, sushi, and grilled fish, per the winemaker's pairing notes. More roses are in our wine collection.
