Colonel EH Taylor Jr Single Barrel Bourbon Whiskey
Colonel EH Taylor Jr Single Barrel Bourbon Whiskey is the one-barrel-at-a-time sibling of the Taylor Small Batch — each bottle drawn from a single hand-selected barrel, still bottled-in-bond at 100 proof (50% ABV). Distilled at Buffalo Trace in Frankfort, Kentucky and rested in Warehouse C, the 1881 Taylor-built rickhouse, it's the purest expression of the Taylor line: no blending, no age statement, just one barrel's character. A 750mL bottle. Order bourbon online at Del Mesa Liquor, San Diego, CA.

One Barrel, No Hiding
Single-barrel whiskey is the distillery's high-wire act — no blend to smooth the edges, so only the best barrels make the cut. Warehouse C, built by Taylor himself in 1881, gives these barrels their character: toasted oak, dried fig and butterscotch, with sweet tobacco and dark spice on the close. Find more Colonel E.H. Tasting Notes
Brand notes (via retailer quote of buffalotracedistillery.com): toasted oak, dried figs and butterscotch on the nose and palate; sweet tobacco and dark spices on the smooth finish.
How to Enjoy
Neat, always — this is the bottle for comparing barrels. If you buy two, taste them side by side; no two barrels are identical.
