Chivas Regal Manchester United Special Edition 13 Year Old Scotch Whisky
Chivas Regal Manchester United Special Edition 13 Year Old Scotch Whisky is a 750mL blended Scotch bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof), aged for 13 years and released in the US in fall 2019 as Chivas's first 13-year-old Scotch for the American market. The age is the tribute: 13 years for the 13 Premier League titles Manchester United won under Sir Alex Ferguson, with portions of the blend selectively finished in American rye casks to amplify the sweet, vanilla side of the Chivas house style. It is available to order online at Del Mesa Liquor.

Thirteen Years for Thirteen Titles
Chivas was Manchester United's Official Global Spirits Partner when this edition launched in October 2019, and the whisky was built as a tribute to the Ferguson era: a 13-year-old blend for the record 13 Premier League titles won under Sir Alex Ferguson, dressed in club colours with Ferguson's signature in gold script. Director of Blending Sandy Hyslop's team selectively finished portions of the blend in American rye casks, drawing out sweet, delicate vanilla notes against the smooth Chivas base. Tasting Notes
Per the launch release: exceptionally smooth and mellow, with sweet, juicy orange citrus, creamy milk chocolate and a light dusting of cinnamon.
How to Enjoy
Neat or over a single large rock — the rye-cask sweetness also carries a whisky highball. More blended Scotch is in our whisky collection.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why is the Manchester United Chivas aged 13 years?
Per Pernod Ricard USA's launch release, the 13-year age statement honours the 13 Premier League titles Manchester United won under manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
What is special about the casks in Chivas 13 Manchester United Edition?
Portions of the blend are selectively finished in American rye casks, which amplify the sweet, vanilla notes of the Chivas house style; the whole blend is not rye-cask matured.
