Cazadores Blanco Tequila is a 750mL blanco bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof) — tequila in its purest form, unaged and bottled straight after double distillation, made from 100% Blue Weber agave in Arandas, in the Highlands of Jalisco. Citrus, fragrant herbs and the customary smooth finish make it the cocktail engine of the Cazadores range. It is available to order online at Del Mesa Liquor.

The Recipe Before the Oak

Every Cazadores starts with the recipe Don Jose Maria Banuelos perfected in Arandas in 1922 — a family secret for two generations before the first commercial distillery opened in the 1970s. The blanco is that recipe with nothing between you and it: agave juice extracted by diffuser, fermented in two stages in stainless steel with a proprietary yeast strain (the tank room famously has classical music playing), and double distilled in small pot stills. No barrel, no rest — what the agave and the still give is what lands in the glass. Find the rested siblings on the Cazadores vendor page and in our tequila collection.

Tasting Notes

Per the producer's official notes: intensity and the real flavour of the agave — citrus fruits and fragrant herbs up front, finishing with the smooth, customary Cazadores finish. Built for cocktails, clean enough to sip neat.

How to Enjoy

A Margarita or Ranch Water is the natural home for an unaged highlands blanco — the citrus and herbal lift survives the ice — and it pours honestly neat for agave-first drinkers. More blancos are in our tequila collection and across our spirits collection.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Cazadores Blanco aged?
No — it is bottled directly after double distillation, with no barrel rest, so the flavour is the agave itself: citrus, herbs and a smooth finish.

Where is Cazadores Blanco made?
At NOM 1487 in Arandas, in the Highlands (Los Altos) of Jalisco, Mexico — the town where the brand was created in 1922 and where it is still produced for Bacardi.

What is diffuser extraction?
Instead of cooking whole agave first, the raw juice is drawn out through a multi-step diffusion process before fermentation. Cazadores pairs it with a two-stage fermentation and double distillation — the house method behind the whole range.
