The Match-Day Bottle
Casino Azul's special editions are built around what is sealed inside the glass — a rose in the Anejo, a glass agave in the Tower — and the International Football Edition puts the beautiful game in the bottle instead: a soccer ball enclosed in the glass, around the house's unaged blanco. No club, league or tournament is attached to the edition; it is a general celebration of international football, and at Del Mesa it runs a small presentation premium over the standard Blanco ($64.99 vs $59.99) for the bottle alone. The standard bottle and the rest of the range are on the Casino Azul vendor page and in our tequila collection.
Tasting Notes
The retailer note set for this edition is the standard Silver profile: fresh agave on the nose with fruit and citrus; smooth and sweet on the palate with fresh agave and a little citrus; a smooth, refreshing finish.
How to Enjoy
Pour it for the match — neat, on the rocks, or in a Blanco Margarita or Paloma where the fresh agave stays in charge. Everything else for the drinks trolley is in our spirits collection.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Casino Azul International Football Edition?
A limited-edition presentation of Casino Azul's Blanco (Silver) tequila — 750mL at 40% ABV — in a bottle with a soccer ball enclosed inside the glass, released as a collector's piece celebrating international football (soccer).
Is it tied to a specific team or tournament?
No named team, league, federation or tournament is attached to the edition in any source found — it is a general football celebration bottle.
Is the tequila different from the regular Casino Azul Blanco?
The specs match the standard Blanco exactly (750mL, 40% ABV, unaged 100% agave) and retailers attach the same tasting profile; the edition's premium is the special bottle. No producer statement formally declaring the liquids identical was found, so the copy presents it as the house Blanco in a limited-edition bottle.
