Casa Pecados Reposado Tequila is the barrel-rested expression from Amatitan, Jalisco — 40% ABV (80 proof), 750mL, NOM 1473, made from 100% Weber Azul agave cooked in stone ovens, fermented in wood with the fibres, double-distilled in copper pots, then rested 61 days in American white oak. It is available to order online at Del Mesa Liquor.

Eight Weeks of Oak, Agave Still in Front

Casa Pecados builds its tequila the old Amatitan way — agave grown six years to harvest, stone ovens, wooden fermentation vats, copper stills, spring water — and the Reposado takes that blanco and gives it the shortest useful rest: about two months in American white oak, just long enough to turn it straw-coloured and round the edges while the cooked-agave flavour stays firm and intense, exactly as the house intends. Compare it with the unaged original in our tequila collection, or see the full range on the Casa Pecados vendor page.

Tasting Notes

Sight: Straw-yellow with green hints, medium body. Nose: Gala apple, pear, vanilla and caramel with white pepper and lightly smoked agave; butter, clove and sandalwood emerge with air (brand notes). Palate: Lightly smoked pepper, caramel, cocoa, walnut and hazelnut, with a soft, broad finish.

How to Enjoy

Sip it neat or on one large cube — the short rest keeps it bright enough for a Ranch Water or a reposado Margarita too, where the cocoa-and-nut depth shows through the citrus.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long is Casa Pecados Reposado aged? 61 days — about eight weeks — in American white oak barrels, per the brand. That sits inside the legal reposado window (two months to one year) at its very start, by design.

Where is it made? In Amatitan, in the Los Valles region of Jalisco, Mexico, under NOM 1473 — stone-oven cooked, wood-fermented and copper-pot distilled.

How does it differ from the Casa Pecados Blanco? Same base production and proof; the Reposado adds the 61-day oak rest, which brings the straw colour, medium body and caramel-cocoa notes the blanco does not have.

Short rest, long agave flavour — order Casa Pecados Reposado Tequila online from Del Mesa Liquor in San Diego, CA.
