The Gin a Perfumer Would Draw

Bloom was created by Joanne Moore — one of the world's first female gin master distillers — at G&J Distillers in Warrington, the former Greenall's distillery and one of England's oldest gin houses. The original Bloom built its reputation on an unusually soft botanical hand: chamomile, honeysuckle and pomelo instead of a juniper shout. Jasmine and Rose takes that signature and turns it fully floral, infusing jasmine flowers and rose petals so the gin pours like a garden in spring — perfumed, silky and deliberately delicate. Pour it from our gin shelf, browse the wider spirits range, or visit the Bloom Gin vendor page.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Rose petal and jasmine first, with honeysuckle sweetness behind. Palate: Silky and floral — chamomile softness, a citrus lift from pomelo, and juniper present but gentle. Finish: Clean and perfumed, the petals lingering.

How to Enjoy

Serve well chilled in a gin and tonic with light tonic and a strawberry or rose-petal garnish, where the florals bloom rather than clash — or in a French 75, whose Champagne lift suits this gin exactly. Heavy botanical tonics and aggressive citrus will bury it; keep the serve simple.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes Bloom Jasmine and Rose different from Bloom London Dry? The classic Bloom botanicals — chamomile, honeysuckle and pomelo — are infused here with jasmine flowers and rose petals, making this the range's overtly floral expression.

Who created Bloom gin? Master distiller Joanne Moore, at G&J Distillers in Warrington, England — the distillery formerly known as Greenall's, gin makers since the 18th century.

Is it a sweet gin? No — it is a dry-style gin. The floral character is aromatic, not sugary; expect perfume and softness, not liqueur sweetness.
