Adictivo Anejo Tequila
Adictivo Anejo Tequila is a 750mL anejo bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof), made from 100% blue Weber agave and aged for two full years in French oak barrels in El Arenal, in the Los Valles lowlands of Jalisco, Mexico — double the one-year anejo minimum. It comes from the house founded by master distiller Gildardo Partida: brick-oven cooked agave, roller-mill extraction, stainless-tank fermentation and double distillation, then the long French oak rest that gives Adictivo its signature toasted sweetness. It is available to order online at Del Mesa Liquor.

Two Years in French Oak — Double the Anejo Minimum
Adictivo's house style is built on French oak, and the Anejo is its clearest statement: two years — twice the legal minimum — turn lowland agave spirit an intense golden amber and layer it with honey, caramel and toasted oak while the cooked agave stays present underneath. It is a sweeter, rounder anejo than the bourbon-barrel style most drinkers know, from a family the brand describes as dedicated to tequila-making for over a hundred years. Explore the house on the Adictivo vendor page, or browse our tequila collection.
Tasting Notes
Per the brand: an intense golden amber anejo with dried fruits and toasted oak on the nose, alongside honey, caramel, vanilla and sweet spice; silky on the palate with honey, caramel, agave, oak and dried fruit; a long finish with a sweet, rolling touch.
How to Enjoy
Neat as an after-dinner pour, or as the aged base of an anejo Old Fashioned where the French oak sweetness reads as the cocktail's sugar and spice in one. More anejos are in our tequila collection.
