It starts from the same certified-organic base as the Blanco — 100% organic Blue Weber agave grown 5.5 to 7 years, cooked in brick hornos, roller-milled, open-air fermented and double distilled in copper pot stills — and the nine months of oak enrich the pure agave character rather than covering it. Tasting Notes
Per the brand: bright golden with silver hues and great body; the nose is American-oak vanilla, caramel, coconut and maple over intense sweet cooked agave, with herbal-citrus notes of mint, orange, lemon and grapefruit; the palate is sweet and soft — vanilla, coconut, cooked agave — with an intense mouthfeel and a pleasantly bitter aftertaste.
