Founded by PJ Rigney and opened in 2014 — the first distillery in Connacht in over a century — under head distiller Brian Taft. Bottled without chill filtration and with no added color. The Tawny Port finish pours red-fruit richness straight into the pot still spice: the official release notes lead with warm almonds and walnuts over deeper red fruits and toffee on the nose, a palate of ripe summer cherries, apricots and crème brûlée swirling with subtle pot spice — the Tawny Port flowing in from the very first sip — and a finish of lingering pot spices with nougat and candied fruits in a creamy, velvet mouthfeel.
