KAH Blanco Tequila
KAH Blanco Tequila is the white calavera of the range — 40% ABV (80 proof), 750mL, 100% Blue Weber agave, double distilled and bottled unaged at Fabrica de Tequilas Finos (NOM 1472) in the town of Tequila, Jalisco. It arrives in a hand-crafted, hand-painted white ceramic skull bottle, each one slightly different from the last. Pure agave, no oak — the distillery's hand, unmasked. The White Calavera
Each KAH expression borrows a different Day of the Dead tradition, and the Blanco's white skull follows Bolivia's: on November 8th, families bring the skulls of loved ones to the cemetery, symbolically feeding them and offering tequila to ask for protection for the year ahead. The spirit inside matches the bottle's purity of purpose — unaged blanco, sweet at first sip, then peppery, scored 96 points by the Beverage Tasting Institute and a Silver Medal at The Tequila Masters per the brand's official FAQ. Taste it against the rest of our tequila range and the blanco shelves, or see the full range on the KAH Tequila vendor page.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Sweet cooked agave and citrus brightness. Palate: Silky and delicate — initially sweet, then a fan of peppery spice opens across the palate. Finish: Clean and spicy, the agave sweetness returning at the close.
How to Enjoy
Neat in a small glass for the full blanco read, or in a Margarita or Paloma where its peppery lift earns its place. The bottle, once empty, is a keeper — every skull is hand-painted.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is KAH Blanco aged? No. It is a true blanco — double distilled from 100% Blue Weber agave and bottled unaged at 40% ABV, so the flavour is agave, fermentation and the still.
Why is the KAH bottle a skull? The ceramic calaveras celebrate Day of the Dead. The Blanco's white skull follows the Bolivian tradition of honouring loved ones' skulls each November 8th — a Day of the Dead custom, not a Halloween gimmick.
Where is KAH Blanco made? With the rest of the range: Fabrica de Tequilas Finos (NOM 1472) in the town of Tequila, Jalisco, under Master Distiller Arturo Fuentes.
