Sheffield Steel Meets Swedish Gin
The Def Leppard spirit collection pairs the band's biggest songs with crafted liquids — "Rocket," the stadium-sized Hysteria single, gets a floral-juniper gin rooted in the band's hometown imagery of Sheffield's lavender labyrinths. Lavender is the signature here, macerated into a bold grain distillate rather than perfuming it. Browse more gin and the Def Leppard collection at Del Mesa Liquor.
Tasting Notes
Per official brand notes carried by retailers: nose of spicy, clear juniper and lavender — bright floral, vegetative, with balanced lemon; palate rich and clear in juniper, lavender, herbs and citrus; a full-bodied, rich, long-lasting finish with a distinct lavender note that lingers.
How to Enjoy
A lavender-forward gin calls for a classic G&T with lemon peel, or a French 75 where the floral character lifts the sparkling wine.
