Ada Lovelace Gin
Ada Lovelace Gin is a California gin with a programmer's soul — 40% ABV (80 proof), 750mL, from Great Women Spirits, the Coppola family's spirits line honoring history's great women. Its botanicals are a "code of 10": Italian blue juniper berries, lavender, summer roses, ripe tangerines, Meyer citrus blossoms, orris root and candied ginger among them, some grown on the Coppola estates in Napa and Sonoma. Distilled in a custom copper pot still over a 100% wheat base using maceration and botanical-basket extraction, then proofed with Napa Valley estate spring water, it drinks like a classic London dry rebuilt by a perfumer — juniper and citrus backbone, lavender lift, a Turkish-delight sweetness mid-palate and an orris-and-ginger finish.
