The 2026 editions. This year's releases are led by the Clase Azul Día de Muertos Trascender Añejo — the newest chapter of Clase Azul's annual Nuestros Recuerdos series, in a hand-painted decanter made to be kept long after the last pour. Alongside it: the Don Julio 70 Día de Muertos 2026 cristalino añejo, Mandala's Guardians of Time Extra Añejo, the Dos Artes Calavera Doble Barrica Extra Añejo 2026 and the G4 Día de Muertos Añejo 2026.
Bottles built like ofrendas. No spirit lends itself to the holiday like agave. These are ceramic and glass works of art — calaveras, La Catrina, marigolds and candlelight rendered by Mexican artisans — from houses including Mandala, Dos Artes, Insolente and Comisario. Most collectors keep the empty bottle on the shelf or the altar; many never open it at all.
What's inside counts too. Behind the artwork are serious agave spirits: añejo and extra añejo tequilas, a cristalino, high-proof joven editions from Yeyo, and Del Maguey's Vida de Muertos mezcal, distilled for the holiday. Every bottle here is an annual limited edition — when a year's release sells through, it is gone, and the next vintage wears a new design.
