Corazon Single Estate Extra Anejo Tequila is a 40% ABV (80 proof), 750mL extra anejo aged at least 36 months in American oak at Casa San Matias (NOM 1103) in the Los Altos highlands of Jalisco. The agave is single-estate — cultivated, distilled and hand-bottled by a family house with more than 130 years of tequila making — cooked in stone and brick ovens, twice distilled, and rested a full three years or more. It pours dark amber: roasted pineapple and sweet vanilla on the nose, then oak, tropical fruit and spice, ultra-smooth to the finish. It is available to order online at Del Mesa Liquor.
