Remy Martin Tercet Cognac
Remy Martin Tercet Cognac is a 750mL Fine Champagne Cognac bottled at 42% ABV (84 proof) — a blend exclusively of eaux-de-vie from Cognac's Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne crus, distilled on the lees and aged in large-grain French oak toasted to a consistent medium-plus level. Launched in 2019, Tercet was created by three of the house's artisans together — Cellar Master Baptiste Loiseau, Wine Master Francis Nadeau and Master Distiller Jean-Marie Bernard — to spotlight the fresh, fruit-forward facet of the Rémy Martin style. It is available to order online at Del Mesa Liquor.

Three Artisans, One Fruit-Forward Cognac
Rémy Martin, founded in 1724, specialises in Fine Champagne Cognac — and Tercet began with a quiet observation by its makers: certain Grande and Petite Champagne eaux-de-vie showed an expressive fruit character, haloed with exotic notes, that deserved a blend of its own. Loiseau, Nadeau and Bernard — cellar, vineyard and still, the three crafts of the house — built that blend over a decade of inspiration, at a bold 84 proof the house frames as the highest in its range. Tasting Notes
Per the house: a pure bronze colour with brilliant clarity; fresh tropical fruits — lychee, mango, pineapple and banana — and dried fruits with cinnamon, ginger and a hint of liquorice on the nose; a fresh, bold palate rounded with spices and fresh stone fruits; a round, smooth and surprisingly long finish.
How to Enjoy
Neat or over one large ice cube, as the house suggests — it pairs its tropical fruit with fresh pineapple or fruit sorbets. More Fine Champagne Cognac is in our spirits collection.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Rémy Martin Tercet a VSOP or an XO?
Neither — Tercet carries no age designation. It is a permanent Fine Champagne expression launched in 2019, built around fruit character rather than an age classification.
What proof is Rémy Martin Tercet?
84 proof (42% ABV) in the 750mL US bottling — bottled higher than the house's classic expressions.
What does Fine Champagne Cognac mean?
A Cognac blended exclusively from the Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne crus, with at least half coming from Grande Champagne. These are Cognac crus in Charente, not the Champagne wine region.
