Tequila Cascahuín was founded in 1904 by the Rosales family in El Arenal, Jalisco — the "Gate of the Agavero Landscape" — and remains family-run four generations later under Maestro Tequilero Salvador "Chava" Rosales Torres. Its name comes from pre-Hispanic roots meaning "hill of light," and the house style is old-school Valle (lowland): slow, traditional, and proudly additive-free. Tasting notes
Cooked agave, honey, and vanilla on the nose. The palate brings caramelized oak, ripe banana, sweet cooked agave, dried fruits, raisins, and toffee with cinnamon, oak spice, and a hint of pepper — finishing dry with subtle sweetness and a long tail.
