Vasanta Anejo Tequila is the brand's classic aged expression: 100% blue agave tequila rested 14 to 18 months in oak. This 750mL bottle is 40% ABV (80 proof) and is available to order online at Del Mesa Liquor, San Diego, CA.

Vasanta is produced at Tequila Tres Mujeres (NOM 1466) in the Los Valles region of Jalisco from 100% Agave Azul. A 14–18-month rest puts this squarely in añejo territory — well past reposado, with real barrel depth, while the agave still leads. It is the sweet spot of the Vasanta lineup for drinkers stepping up from reposado.

Tasting notes (per distributor portfolio): caramel, chocolate, maple, and coffee over cooked agave on a long, silky finish; preserved cherry and pear with crystallized orange on the nose; balanced herbal tones of mint and rosemary.

Why buy Vasanta Anejo? Because it delivers the full añejo experience — chocolate, coffee, dried fruit — at a fraction of luxury-brand pricing. Sip it neat beside the tequila collection's other añejos, explore the Vasanta brand collection from Blanco to Extra Añejo, and see our whiskey collection if you like your spirits oak-forward.

Serving note: neat at room temperature in a copita; a natural after-dinner pour or a luxurious añejo old fashioned base.

How long is Vasanta Anejo aged? 14 to 18 months in oak, per the distributor's portfolio.

Is Vasanta 100% agave? Yes — 100% blue agave across the line, produced at NOM 1466.

What proof is it? 40% ABV (80 proof) in the 750mL bottle.

Añejo vs. Extra Añejo? Añejo is aged 1–3 years (Vasanta's runs 14–18 months); Extra Añejo is aged over 3 years — Vasanta's spends four full years in French oak.
