Tommy Bahama Island Gin
Tommy Bahama Island Gin is island-style gin for the tropics-minded: 93 proof (46.5% ABV), cold-distilled with six botanicals — European juniper, fresh cucumber, grapefruit, cardamom, elderflower, and hibiscus — produced and bottled by Coral Cay Distilling in Cashmere, Washington, in this 750mL bottle — and it is available to order online at Del Mesa Liquor, San Diego, CA.
Tommy Bahama Spirits launched in spring 2020, and the Island Gin is built around cold distillation — the brand's signature method for identifying each botanical cleanly rather than cooking it. The result is a citrus-forward gin with real juniper structure: citrus aromas with juniper berries on the nose, grapefruit with a dash of cardamom spice on the palate, and a rich, smooth finish. It took a Silver medal at the 2021 San Francisco World Spirits Competition (official press release, May 2021).
Why buy Tommy Bahama Island Gin? Because it's a genuinely good gin wearing a resort shirt — the six-botanical recipe with cucumber and hibiscus makes a brighter, more tropical G&T than a London dry.
