Purasangre Reposado Tequila is highland tequila with a thoroughbred pedigree — an 80-proof (40% ABV) 100% blue Weber agave tequila in a 750mL bottle, rested nine months in French oak. Made at NOM 1146 by native highlander and master distiller Enrique Fonseca in Tequila, Jalisco, from agave grown around his hometown of Atotonilco El Alto, it is distilled twice — first in a stainless-steel alembic pot still, then in a copper pot still — for a reposado that keeps its agave identity under the oak. Order it online at Del Mesa Liquor, San Diego, CA.

The Thoroughbred of the Highlands

Purasangre means "thoroughbred," and the name is earned at the source: mature highland agave from red clay soils, roasted slow, and double-distilled by one of Tequila's most respected names. Nine months in French oak round the edges without burying the cooked-agave core — this is a reposado built for sipping as much as for upgrading a Margarita. Tasting Notes

Bright and balanced — cooked agave, citrus, and vanilla up front, with French-oak baking spice and a nutty roundness through the middle; a clean, slightly sweet finish with lingering agave (per retailer consensus).

How to Enjoy

Neat in a tulip glass to taste the highland character, or over a large cube. It makes a superb top-shelf Margarita where the oak never fights the citrus.
