The Bob Dylan Whiskey
Heaven's Door launched in 2018 as Dylan's first — and to this day only — consumer brand partnership, a collaboration with Spirits Investment Partnership and master blender Ryan Perry. Every bottle carries one of Dylan's own welded iron gate sculptures, created at his Black Buffalo Ironworks studio, making the packaging as much a piece of the artist as the label. The bourbon inside has earned its own reputation: a Gold Medal at the 2018 San Francisco World Spirits Competition and 96 points at the 2018 Ultimate Spirits Challenge. Tasting Notes
The nose brings baked bread, dried fruit, buttered popcorn and vanilla, with orange and honey drifting through. The palate is smooth and full — caramel and vanilla layered over toasted oak, touched with cinnamon, nutmeg and baking spice — and the finish is long, warm and gently sweet.
