Filmland Spirits Quadraforce Bourbon Whiskey is a 94-proof (47% ABV), 750mL blend of four straight bourbon whiskeys — Kentucky, Indiana, California, and a mystery mash — blended and bottled in Kentucky by Filmland Spirits. Only 6,000 bottles were released. It is available to order online at Del Mesa Liquor, San Diego, CA.
Filmland pairs every whiskey with an original B-movie script, and Quadraforce is its team-up issue: four bourbons, four mash bills — 78% corn/12% rye/10% malted barley; 70% corn/25% wheat/5% malted barley; 80% corn/10% rye/10% malted barley; and one mash of mystery — assembled so the blend out-punches any single barrel in it. Kentucky brings caramel structure, Indiana adds rye spice, California's wheat brings almond sweetness, and the mystery mash rounds it out.
Tasting profile: vanilla, caramel, almond and cinnamon spice on the nose; wheat sweetness, almond and earthy notes with spice on the palate; a balanced, smooth finish with lingering spice and nutty undertones.
