The peach version began as a once-a-year, very limited draft brewed for a long-running local festival outside Eugene — the same festival the base beer was created for, whose logo is a peach, which is why a peach spin-off was made. It became a favourite of festival staff, musicians and drinkers, and Ninkasi packaged it in April 2020 as its summer seasonal. The brewery was founded in Eugene in 2006 by Jamie Floyd and Nikos Ridge, and its first batch was Total Domination IPA.
