Maker’s Mark 46
Introduced in 2010, Maker’s Mark 46 was the first major new expression from the distillery since its founding release in 1958. Created by Bill Samuels Jr., son of the founders, it represents a bold twist on the classic Maker’s Mark recipe.
The process begins with fully matured Maker’s Mark bourbon. Ten specially seared French oak staves (Stave Profile No. 46) are inserted into the barrel, and the whiskey is finished in the distillery’s limestone cellar. This unique method imparts deeper, richer flavors while maintaining Maker’s Mark’s signature smoothness.
