Yeyo Silver Tequila is a 750mL blanco tequila bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof), made from 100% Blue Weber agave grown on the Vivanco family's estate in Arandas, Jalisco, slow-cooked in traditional brick ovens for 53+ hours and double-distilled in copper pot stills at Destileria El Ranchito (NOM 1414). It is available to order online at Del Mesa Liquor.

A Highland Blanco Named for Its Master Distiller

Yeyo was founded by Jon Bullinger and is made with Master Distiller Sergio Cruz — "Yeyo" is a familiar Mexican nickname for men named Sergio, and Cruz's signature appears on the bottle — together with the Vivanco family, whose three generations of tequila making in Arandas work the red volcanic soils of the Los Altos "golden triangle." The process is deliberately slow: estate agave matured five to six years is cooked in brick ovens for over 53 hours, fermented for around 190 hours with Champagne yeast while classical music plays (the brand calls it the Mozart Method), double-distilled in copper pot stills, and then rested 70 days before bottling — a blanco with more patience in it than most. The brand states the tequila is made additively free, with only agave, yeast and deep-well water. Browse the range on the Yeyo vendor page and the wider shelf in our tequila collection.

Tasting Notes

Per the producer: cooked agave and floral citrus on the aroma, with sweet spice and fresh agave; the palate balances sweet, spicy and peppery notes; the finish is smooth, clean and satisfying.

How to Enjoy

Sip it neat or slightly chilled to taste the Highland agave, or put it in a Margarita, a Paloma, or the brand's own Blanco Picante — blanco, lime, simple syrup and jalapeno, with an optional Tajin rim. More blancos are in our tequila collection.
