Grown on the Omlin family farm in Quincy, Washington, milled, mashed, fermented and pot-distilled at Woodinville Whiskey Co., then aged for eight years in heavily toasted, lightly charred, open-air-seasoned American oak barrels through the fluctuating Pacific Northwest climate. The result: Woodinville's terroir-driven rye at its most mature — a 100% rye mash bill with no corn or malted barley. Released June 2025, it took Platinum at the 2025 ASCOT Awards and Double Gold at the 2025 San Francisco Spirits Competition.
Tasting notes (official/distillery): dark molasses, clove and brown sugar on the nose; cinnamon, vanilla, dark honey and a touch of dried cranberry on the palate; a long, warm, peppery finish with a dry oaky grip.
