Torabhaig Legacy Series Chapter No. 4 Sound of Sleat Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Torabhaig Legacy Series Chapter No. 4 — Sound of Sleat is the fourth and penultimate chapter of the distillery's Legacy Series, charting the journey to its 10-year-old release. This limited 750mL bottle (US format) is 46% ABV (92 proof), distilled from Concerto and Laureate barley peated to 78+ PPM, and matured in ex-bourbon and new charred American oak casks — non-chill filtered, natural color.
Named for the narrow sea channel between Skye and the Scottish mainland (Linne Shleite in Gaelic), only 45,000 bottles were produced worldwide, with packaging artwork by Skye-based artist Ellis O'Connor. Note: this is the standard 46% chapter — not the separate cask-strength batch.
Tasting notes
Orange, apricot, popcorn, seaweed, pipe tobacco, honey, vanilla, and boiled sweets on the nose. The palate brings zesty oak spice, rich sweet bonfire smoke, waxy honey, sea salt, and white pepper — finishing long and coastal: honey, storms, and the ocean.
Why buy it from Del Mesa Liquor

How to serve it
Neat in a Glencairn — give it air and the maritime smoke turns honeyed.
