Sugarlands Orange Squeeze Moonshine
Sugarlands Orange Squeeze Moonshine is a 50-proof (25% ABV), 750mL flavored moonshine from Sugarlands Distilling Company in Gatlinburg, Tennessee — Sugarlands' version of an old-fashioned soda, where classic orange soda flavor meets a kick of Appalachian attitude. It is available to order online at Del Mesa Liquor, San Diego, CA.
Launched in July 2024 with rock band O.A.R. as brand ambassadors — the band's third collaboration with the distillery, featured on the jar hang tags — Orange Squeeze was built by Master Distiller Greg Eidam's team to capture, in Eidam's words, "the vibrant, tangy taste of orange soda and balancing it perfectly with our award-winning moonshine." Nostalgia mingles with mischief in every pour.
Tasting profile: sweet orange, citrus zest, and light vanilla on the nose; a tangy palate of orange juice and candied citrus over soft moonshine warmth; a smooth, fruity finish with lingering sweet orange. Serving note: serve it chilled or over ice — or mix an Orange Creamsicle with cream soda, a moonshine Screwdriver, or a fizzy citrus spritz with lemon-lime soda.
