Glenfiddich Aston Martin Formula One Limited Edition 16 Year Old Scotch Whisky Release 2
Glenfiddich & Aston Martin Formula One Team 16 Year Old — Limited Edition Release No. 2 is the second bottling in the multi-year partnership between Glenfiddich and the Aston Martin Formula One Team, established in November 2024. This 750mL Speyside single malt is 16 years old and bottled at 43% ABV, rolling out across the US from August 2026 at an MSRP of $79.99.
Where Release No. 1 (2025) was matured entirely in American oak, Release No. 2 moves to a five-cask recipe built by Malt Master Brian Kinsman: first-fill bourbon barrels, Port pipes, Oloroso sherry casks, red wine casks, and Fino sherry butts — the Port and two sherry styles adding richer, drier structure while keeping Glenfiddich's fruit-led character. The partnership, developed with Managing Technical Partner Adrian Newey, is built around "invisible craft" — the shared belief in unseen detail.
Tasting notes (official)
Nose: rich stewed fruits, floral top notes, marzipan, polished leather. Palate: mellow and silky — creamy, buttery toffee sweetness, caramelized cane sugar, dry oak tannin. Finish: long-lasting oaky sweetness.

How to serve it
Neat in a Glencairn — the stewed fruit and marzipan show best undiluted. A few drops of water soften the dry oak tannin.
