The Amontillado component is the story here: the distillery credits it with toasted hazelnut and mellow crème-caramel depth layered onto the PX/Oloroso richness — official notes cite morello cherry, raisin, spiced Brazil-nut toffee, marzipan and medjool-date caramel on the nose, and glazed cherry sultana cake, cinnamon raisin-nut toffee and chocolate hazelnut café crème on the palate, in a dark cherry-walnut hue.
