The GlenDronach Boynsmill House Edition is a 14-year-old Highland single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 46.8% ABV (93.6 proof) in a 750mL bottle. Released in 2026 for The GlenDronach's 200th anniversary — the distillery was founded in 1826 by James Allardice on the Boynsmill Estate in the Valley of the Brambles — this limited edition honors Boynsmill House, the historic residence at the heart of the distillery where Allardice entertained his guests.

Master Blender Dr. Rachel Barrie matured the whisky 14 years in a combination of Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks with a small number of Claret red wine casks — the claret adding vibrant layers of red berry fruit as a nod to the wines poured at Allardice's Boynsmill House gatherings. It is one of two 200th-anniversary releases from the distillery, alongside an Aged 56 Years bottling, the oldest commercial release in GlenDronach history.

Tasting notes (official)

Nose: fruit and nut medley, Highland toffee, bramble, stone fruit, hazelnut, raisin. Palate: plush ripe malt layered with dried fruits and nuts, rising to chocolate caramel. Finish: mellow and velvety, with lingering stone fruit and plum sweetness.
