Camarena Silver Tequila is a 40% ABV (80 proof), 750mL blanco from Familia Camarena in Arandas, in the Los Altos Highlands of Jalisco — 100% Blue Weber agave, bottled immediately after distillation with no oak aging, clear and bright with a platinum sheen. The brand cooks its agave in traditional brick ovens and ferments with a proprietary yeast, and the Silver is where that highland character shows purest: toasted agave, green herbs and vibrant citrus. It is available to order online at Del Mesa Liquor.

The Blanco from the Family That Founded Arandas

The Camarenas helped found Arandas in 1761 and have grown agave in Los Altos ever since — six generations, nearly 80 years selling agave to other producers before bottling their own in 1938, and a US launch with E. & J. Gallo in 2010. Brand lore ties the bottle's shape to Arandas's historic celebration bell and its wolf imagery to the wolves of Jalisco, guardians of the agave fields. However you pour it, the Silver is the family's foundation spirit: the unaged blanco that the 60-day Reposado rests from. Find the family on the Camarena vendor page, compare the rested Camarena Reposado, or shop the full tequila shelf.

Tasting Notes

Colour: Clear and bright with a platinum sheen. Nose: Rich toasted agave, fresh green herbs and vibrant citrus. Palate: Exceptionally soft and smooth, with sweet vanilla under the agave — the brand's own notes. Finish: Soft and warming, with savoury brown spices and black pepper.

How to Enjoy

Built for Margaritas and Palomas — the brand's own serving direction — and soft and clean enough to sip straight or over ice with a lime twist.
