Bezel Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon
Bezel Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon is a 750mL red wine from Paso Robles on California's Central Coast, made by Bezel — the Central Coast label from the Cakebread family of Napa Valley. Fruit is sourced from across the Paso Robles AVA — high-desert vineyards with extreme day-to-night swings for tannic structure and acidity, and vineyards tucked against the southern Santa Lucia Range for plush, generous fruit with a classic herbal edge. It is available to order online at Del Mesa Liquor, San Diego, CA.
Bezel debuted nationally in March 2025, extending 50-plus years of Cakebread winemaking beyond Napa with winemaker Jane Dunkley. The Cabernet is the bold, elegant red of the lineup: a classic, affable wine blended from across the AVA to embody the mélange of fruit characters Paso Robles produces, finished with the refreshing lift the region's cool nights provide.
Tasting profile: aromas of blackberry, dried herbs and a hint of minerality, leading to plush ripe black and red fruit and dark chocolate on the palate with soft tannins and good length. Browse the Bezel brand collection, more red wine, and the full wine collection at Del Mesa Liquor.
Serving note: a natural match for grilled steaks, lamb, brisket burgers with bacon and blue cheese, or mature cheeses.
