This deep amber whiskey has a complex aroma of vanilla, mint and molasses. Pleasantly sweet to the taste with notes of brown sugar and spice that give way to oak, toffee, dark fruit and anise. This whiskey finishes long and smooth with serious depth.

Easy drinker, not proofy and has great rich sweet flavors

I thought it tasted great, very rich, tried it both neat and as a shot. Easily drinkable neat, went down super easy and tasty as a shot. Flavors that came to mind were delicious brown sugar and milk chocolate, which I like in my bourbon. A little bit of oak, but not super woody. If you like spicy bourbon flavors like cinnamon, nutmeg, and other baking spices, it’s not that, but that’s totally fine with me for this pick. Compared the nose to a K&L BT single barrel pick that I had, I thought they both had a great nose but did smell similar. I would probably have to do a blind tasting between these and also a regular BT bottle to really tell the difference, if I get around to it sometime soon I’ll update this review. Also, the online order process and pickup was really smooth. I’ve made 2 online transactions so far with this place when seeing an email go out, and they both went really well. I look forward to other barrel picks from here.
