Renowned Mexican artist Mario Carcia Torres is more than just an artist. Self-stated, “tourist of history and an urban explorer. Garcia Torres has no specific professional commitment, a free spirit containing no boundaries allowing him to have a clearer perspective. The project that he ensures involves printing a catalogue of the region’s native plants using a process that consists of oxidized metal powder on fabric. This transfer process creates a negative image. In other words, the masses of dark colors are converted into bright lights, and conversely, the light tones are converted into shadows. His project attempts to document a selection of the vegetation of the agave region of Jalisco using the transfer process described before. The result is a proposal from the artist of a reconfigured landscape through the distinctive images produced.

First extra-añejo tequila, famous worldwide, is the Cuervo family’s private collection. 

At the peak of the blue agave harvest period the unique wine matured after seven to twelve years of growing in the field. 

Exclusively aged in French and American oak barrels, Reserva de la Familia is best served in a snifter, allowing for full appreciation of its flavors, aroma, and velvety finish.
