Some sunset juice with Kaiyo Whisky. Everybody knows the Suntory family but don’t sleep on some of these other Japanese whiskies floating around. If you’ve tried anything from the Kaiyo family, what’s your opinion on them? The price is right but how’s the juice?

Kaiyo Japanese Whisky is matured in beautiful Mizunara oak casks, carefully constructed
due to the oak’s delicate wood grain. They are some of the rarest casks in the world and are
considered the pinnacle for whisky maturation. After years of developing, the Mizunara casks go on a final voyage for up to 3 months, leaving from Osaka Japan. The rocking of the ocean ship brings out incredible flavors from the casks that cannot be found when the cask is still on solid ground.
